ENAJ ELECTED IN ITALY NEW MANAGMENT COMMITTEE YANNE BOLOH FROM FRANCE IS THE NEW CHAIRMAN. LISA BELLOCCHI REMAINS IN THE BOARD

Baschi (Terni), 9 ottobre 2024. The European Network of Agricultural Journalists has elected a new management committee during their annual meeting, which took place in Baschi, in the region of Umbria, Italy. The new committee has eight members: New representatives are Melanie Epp (Belgium), Klaus Hartikainen (Finland) and Rachel Martin (Ireland). Lisa Bellocchi (Italy), Yanne Boloh (France), Adrian Krebs (Switzerland), Katharina Seuser (Germany) and Vedran Stapic (Croatia) were reelected. Jef Verhaeren (Belgium), co-founder of ENAJ and it’s Honorary President, and Damien O’Reilly (Ireland), also founding member of ENAJ, stepped back.

The new committee proposed to the assembly Yanne Boloh to be the new chairwoman. The delegates fully supported her election. She thanked the assembly: “I am extremely honored to have the trust of ENAJ delegates with my colleagues on the Management Committee. We will be committed to following the path of the founders’ vision about EU and EFTA ag journalists, to strengthen our network, the ENAJ, and to propose inspiring diverse events for our guild members”. Lisa Bellocchi, who was chairwoman from 2018 till 2024, thanked all colleagues for the support and the trustfull work. “I have been very proud and happy to serve ag journalism as ENAJ’s chairwoman. I think that good human relationships are the corner stone of quality journalism which ENAJ confirms on a daily basis”.

INFORMATION ON YANNE BOLOH. Yanne Boloh is an agri-food engineer and has worked as a journalist since 1986, firstly as chief editor of professional magazine. Then she founded Philéas Info press agency based in the Sarthe region. Yanne Boloh has been a member of the French guild AFJA since 1996 and is a member of the Board of Directors since 2017. She was elected member of ENAJ Management Committee in 2018 and has served as Secretary since then.
