The Belgian and Dutch guild of agricultural journalists (BVLJ and NVLJ) in conjunction with the European Network of Agricultural journalist (ENAJ) welcome you to join the Innovative Pig Production Tour from May 17th until May 21st, 2014.
Program
The Innovative Pig Productin Tour will take place in the border area between Belgium and The Netherlands, one of the most productive regions with regards to pig production. The tour will offer visits to pig farms, a feed mill and the new innovative Feed Design Lab, a facility that focuses on development of novel food and feed. Besides the practical side of modern pig production, we’ll discuss the use of antibiotics and innovative pig production in an European perspective.
In addition to this tour you will be invited to visit VIV Europe in Utrecht. The international exhibition VIV Europe offers a broad perspective on the international innovative meat production with a main focus on pig and poultry.

Price
Those participants who register before March 21th are offered an early bird price*: 175 euro per person for a double room and 275 euro per person for a single room.
After March 15th prices will rise with 50 euro’s per person. Due to hotel reservation registrations entered after March 21th can’t be refunded.
*The price includes your accommodation, meals and transport during the tour. It doesn’t include travelling to and from The Netherlands and your personal expenses.
