Deadline approaching for
IFAJ-Alltech Young Leaders award
Member guilds are reminded the deadline for the IFAJ-Alltech Young Leaders in Agricultural Journalism award is after a week, March 1, 2013.
The award recognizes the leadership potential of young members from countries belonging to IFAJ. Leadership means for example, if they are currently involved in any leadership capacity in your guild or other professional organizations, such as committee membership? Or have they won any writing or broadcasting awards or recognized by your guild or peers for their journalism efforts?
The award supports young journalist’s participation at an IFAJ congress through. It is designed to help offset travel and registration.
Candidates must have been no more than 35 years old as of December 31, 2012.
